Swamp Head Brewery offers annual candy inspired beers on Oct. 24th drive thru style

Swamp Head Brewery in Gainesville is brewing up candy beers to satisfy adult trick or treaters’ sweet toothed customers.

The beers will be available as part of the sampler bundle, or as individual 16 ounce cans for $5 each and go on sale on Oct. 24th.

Some of this year’s candy beers are:

-Cherry SweeTart Berliner; 6.3% ABV⠀

-Mounds Sweet Stout; 6.0% ABV (contains lactose)

-Orange Sour Patch Kid Berliner; 5.5% ABV⠀

-Twix Amber Ale; 5.8% ABV (contains lactose)

-Pink Starburst White Stout; 5.5% ABV⠀

-Lemonhead Sour NEIPA; 6.2% ABV⠀

-RazzApple Fun Dip Berliner; 7% ABV⠀

-Reese’s Double Stout; 8.2% ABV

“Every year around this time we gather at the brewery to do some adult-style trick-or-treating,” the brewery reports. “Except our treats aren’t candy, our treats are candy-inspired beers, dreamt up by our brewers and available for one very spooky night.”

Bundle and beer sales begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24th. All purchases must be picked up Saturday, between the hours of 12-8 p.m. It is highly recommended that you place your order online (link to follow) at noon on Saturday before driving out to the brewery in case of a sellout.

This year the brewery is creating an Adult Trick or Treating Sampler Bundle, perfect for sharing between four friends. Each bundle will include a 16-oz can of each of this year’s eight candy beers. In addition, you’ll get four different themed, limited sampler glasses all packaged in a reusable Swamp Head tote bag. Quantities are limited, bundle price is $50 and includes a 16 oz can of all 8 candy beers, four 6-oz sampler glasses, and a themed, reusable tote bag.

According to Swamp Head Brewery Officer Manager Michele Pate, the 8-pack sampler bundle of candy flavored beers will be available to order online right at Noon on Oct. 23 and with only 250 available, she said they expect for the treats to sell out very quickly.

“Nothing is secure until you checkout,” she said about the online order process. So once the bundle is in your shopping cart, Pate says you need to checkout and set up a pickup time to secure your order.
