Precincts Update: Over 11,000 votes cast today in Alachua County

Over 11,000 ballots have been cast today by Alachua County voters, and no issues have been reported at any of the local precincts, according to Alachua County Supervisor of Elections (ACSE) Public Information Officer TJ Pyche.

According to the Turnout Tracker on the ACSE website, there have been 11,749 cast today as of 11am – 5,134 of those were from registered Republicans, 4,089 from Democrats, 2,339 from non-party affiliated voters, and 187 other ballots.

Overall, there have been 127,573 ballots cast in Alachua County by mail-in-ballot, early or Election Day voting – which is just under 67% turnout. This includes 60,506 mail-in ballots, 54,681 early votes, and 11,749 Election Day ballots.

Democrats lead in Alachua County with 67,387 votes cast, followed by Republicans with 34,827, Non-Party Affiliated voters cast 23,055 votes and 1,795 others.
