Register to join the City of Gainesville Town Hall call about COVID-19

The City of Gainesville will host its third telephone town hall event on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:15 p.m. Gainesville Mayor Lauren Poe, GRU General Manager Ed Bielarski and representatives from the School Board of Alachua County, including Superintendent Karen Clark, will update our community about efforts related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Neighbors with landlines are encouraged to register in advance through this link to receive a call back at the time of the event. Registration for a call back closes two hours before the 7:15 p.m. start time. Callers can also dial in at 1-888-410-3427 to ask questions, share comments or simply listen in once the event begins. Spanish speakers can dial 1-844-881-1317.

The telephone town hall will be streamed live on Facebook , the City of Gainesville website and on COX Cable Channel 12 and will be archived online. Visit us online for updates and answers to frequently asked questions about COVID-19.
