Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. Care is for a female client living in her own home.
Starting Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
This is a contract position
Immediate hiring for Weekend shifts available 12 or 24 shifts:
Fri 8p-Sat 8a
Sat 8a-8p
Sat 8p- Sun 8a
Sun 8a-8p
Weekday shifts 8a-8p may also be available.
Duties
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Assist client with mobility and transfers as necessary – no lifting required.
- Assistance with meal preparation.
- Launder clothing and linens as needed and household chores to maintain a clean environment.
- Transport client to community activities.
- Submit accurate documentation of client care and report any changes in health status to supervisors.
- Foster a supportive relationship with the client, encouraging social interaction and engagement in activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health settings OR matching education.
- Must have a minimum education of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background check.
- Complete Agency for Persons with Disabilities online trainings.
- Must have a cell phone to clock in and out.
