Santa Fe College ‘Songs of the Season’ concert on tap for Friday

Santa Fe College Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology invites the community to attend an early holiday event, “Songs of the Season,” on Friday.  

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Jackson Sasser Fine Arts Hall on the SF College Northwest Campus (3000 NW 83rd St., Gainesville).  

According to a press release, the concert will feature the Santa Fe Singers, who are led by SF College Adjunct Professors of Music, Mitchell Rorick and Wendy Gunther.

The group will be joined by special guests from the Gainesville Youth Chorus. The ensemble consists of young vocalists aged 7 to 17.  

“The Youth Chorus will showcase both their Concert Choir and Concertina Choir, singing individually and in collaboration with the Santa Fe Singers, adding an extra layer of harmony to the evening,” the release said.
