A Lake City man is in serious condition when his scooter collided with a pickup truck Tuesday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported the incident that occurred around 1 p.m. when a pickup traveling westbound on SW Troy Street failed to yield the right of way at a green light and turned left onto Country Road 252B in front of a scooter traveling eastbound on SW Troy Street.
FHP reported the 31-year-old male scooter driver from Lake City was in serious condition. The pickup driver, a 41-year-old male from Sanderson, was not injured. Both vehicles were removed from the road prior to FHP’s arrival.
