The South Sumter Raiders defeated the Bradford Tornadoes 9-6 Friday night in the second round of the Class 4-A playoffs Friday night.

In an odd and low scoring first half, South Sumter managed only a safety to take a 2-0 lead. In the third quarter, both teams scored touchdowns, extending South Sumter’s lead to 9-6 heading into the fourth quarter, which ended the scoring.

Bradford ends its season with a 5-6 record. South Sumter is 5-4. and plays the winner of the Jacksonville Bolles-Fernandina Beach winner next week in the Class 4-A Region 2 finals.
