Bradford High School’s A’dontae Balfour heading into 2020 season with high expectations, and seven college scholarship offers

Today’s Rising Senior spotlight is on A’dontae Balfour of Bradford High School in Starke. 

Balfour will play football, basketball, and run track his senior year. His favorite high school sports moment was beating rival Baker County 27-24 last year.  He was named a 2nd team All-Area selection by the Gainesville Sun after finishing with 478 yards receiving and five touchdowns.

Balfour, who will play cornerback and wide receiver this season, finished with eight pass breakups and seven interceptions on defense.

This past Thursday at the Baker Sports high school football media day in Jacksonville, rising senior A’dontae Balfour of Bradford High School talked about his goals for this upcoming season.

“My personal goal this year is to have 10 interceptions and to be the best player I can for my teammates,” he said. 

A’dontae Balfour currently has college offers from South Carolina, Virginia, Ole Miss, FIU, Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, and Albany State. He has interest from Washington State, Auburn, Northwestern, Miss. State, Oregon, Tulane, and FAU.
