Hailey Pope heading to Santa Fe College after three-sport success at Bell High School

Today’s senior spotlight is on Hailey Pope of Bell High School. 

Pope played softball, volleyball and soccer for the Lady Bulldogs. She participated in the Beta, Criminal Justice Program and she successfully completed the Health Academy Program at BHS. Hailey received her CNA License earlier this year from the program. Outside of school in her spare time Hailey loves to barrel race.

She was an honorable mention all-area selection by the Gainesville Sun in volleyball. She had 85 kills, 85 digs and 19 blocks for the Lady Bulldogs, who finished 27-2.

On the diamond, she was a left fielder and shortstop for the Bell softball team.  She was batting .286 with five runs batted in and four runs scored in 12 games. 

She had one multi-hit game this season, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win against Fort White. Hailey was one of five seniors on the team, which carried a weighted grade point average of 3.66. 

Her future plans are to attend Santa Fe College in the fall. She plans to become a Radiology Technician.
