Newberry edges PK Yonge; Bell sweeps Fort White

Last night the Newberry Girl’s Volleyball team team defeated P.K. Yonge in five sets to improve to 6-2 on the season. 

Senior Paige Dinges led the Panthers with 22 kills. Junior libero Abby Pace added 56 digs and senior setter Sarah Miller had a career high 50 assists. 

Bell High School was also a winner. The Lady ‘Dogs swept Fort White.

Taria Liles had 14 kills, Ashlee Thomas had six kills, and three blocks. Sydney Waddle had 20 assists and Maddy Sapp had six kills and four aces for Bell, which travels to Dixie County tonight.
