
Gainesville Community Playhouse (GCP) will present the comedy “The Play That Goes Wrong” starting Friday, May 23, and running through June 8.
The show opens at 8 p.m. on Friday with additional performances at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 25. The show continues Thursdays through Sundays until the final show on Sunday, June 8.

This international hit, directed by Erin Moore and written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, follows the Cornley Drama Society as they attempt to stage a classic whodunnit — but everything that can go wrong does! From missing props and collapsing scenery to unconscious actors and a corpse that refuses to stay still, the chaos unfolds spectacularly, leaving audiences in stitches.
