Yevhen Prozhyrko via ShutterstockA Trenton woman, 39, died Wednesday morning in Levy County after the golf cart she was driving got hit from behind, ejecting her from the cart.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that the incident happened just after 6 a.m. along SE 8th Street just south of SE 3rd Avenue. According to the report, the golf cart was travelling south in an area without streetlights.
The rearend collision overturned the cart in the street, resulting in the fatality. The driver of the vehicle a Trenton man, 48, was not injured.
