Walk to End Alzheimer’s to hold “Boogie for a Cause Kickoff Party”

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s “Boogie for a Cause Kick Off Party” is slated for Tuesday, Aug. 26, at The Village at Gainesville.

The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at 8000 NW 27th Blvd.  Click here to RSVP.  

This kick-off party will offer attendees a preview of this year’s Walk, an opportunity to learn how to get involved, and the chance to connect with others in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Attendees will enjoy dancing, refreshments and a best-dressed competition.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s Space Coast will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Ave.

On Walk Day, participants will take part in the moving Promise Garden Ceremony, where colorful flowers symbolize personal reasons: we walk for a loved one, as a caregiver, as a supporter, or in memory.
