The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall (3000 NW 83rd St.).
The Lao Tizer Band performs a variety of styles with all-stars, including:
- Lao Tizer: a former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee on piano and keys
- Elliott Yamin: American Idol star on vocals
- Danny Janklow: sax and flute
- Cheik N’Doye: Senegalese bassist
- Gene Coye: Grammy-winning drummer
The band’s new album, “AMPLIFY,” includes nine original songs with five vocals and four instrumentals.
