Williston quarterback John Jazikoff entered the Red Devils’ game against Lake Minneola with two touchdown passes on the season.

He more than doubled that on Friday night.

Jazikoff threw for 135 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for another as Williston scored nine touchdowns on 10 offensive possessions in a 63-0 win over Lake Minneola. The Red Devils have now outscored opponents 112-7 over the last two weeks.

Jazikoff also surpassed 1,000 passing yards in his career.

“It’s definitely a blessing because I’ve been working my tuchus off to be where I’m at,” Jazikoff said. “Nothing was given to me.”

Jazikoff rushed for a touchdown on the game’s opening drive before hitting Sean Bollwage for a 34-yard touchdown a drive later to go up 14-0 in the first quarter. Jazikoff was one of four players to score touchdowns on the ground.

“I’m proud of ‘em, trust me,” Williston coach Robby Pruitt said. “We can’t look past anybody. We’ve got a long way to go here, but our kids have worked hard.”

Running back Bryson Willis scored on a 9-yard run to open the second before Kameryn Manneh added a 6-yard score midway through the second quarter. Jazikoff added his second passing touchdown of the night on a 53-yard pass to Omarian Walker, which sealed a running clock for the second half.

Walker accounted for 138 yards of total offense, while Kameryn Manneh rushed for 84 yards and two scores.

Despite clinching a running clock, the Red Devils continued to pour it on.

J’Dyen Manneh added a 55-yard touchdown rush with 3:29 left in the first half before Jazikoff found Bollwage for their second touchdown connection, this time from 48 yards out, giving Williston a 49-0 lead at halftime.

“We wanted to throw it,” Pruitt said. “We’ve got to be able to throw the ball more, and (Jazikoff) is very capable. We’ve got some kids that can run down the field and catch it. So, that’s going to be part of our game plan going forward.”

Williston added two more scores in the second half, including a 37-yard rush by Manneh.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils’ defense forced seven punts, a turnover on downs and intercepted one pass.

“We got to play a lot of kids, even the young kids kept them off the board,” Pruitt said. “It’s always good when you get a lot of bodies in there and play them. I was proud of them.”

Williston (2-1) will go for its third-straight win next week at home against North Marion. Pruitt is now two victories away from win No. 200 in the state of Florida.
