The Gainesville High School Concert Choir will perform with the Festival Singers of Florida on Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church.

This free concert, entitled “Another Glorious Day,” will take place at 7 p.m. at 300 SW 2nd Ave. To RSVP for the event, click here.  

Featuring over 100 singers, the Festival Singers of Florida includes many music educators, making this collaboration even more special. The concert will include a variety of music, as well as a premiere by composer Kara Stacy Bedwell. Bedwell is an emerging composer based in Central Florida who was a winner of the American Choral Directors Association Raymond Brock Memorial Student Composer’s Competition and prides herself in writing melodies and setting texts that are accessible and engaging for young performers.
