Two former hostages will share their story on surviving in Hamas captivity at the UF Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Monday.

This free event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at 3201 Hull Rd. in Gainesville. An RSVP is required by clicking here.

According to the press release, Sapir Cohen and Sasha Troufanov were kidnapped and separated in Gaza and survived 55 and 498 days, respectively, “In the depths of captivity, they endured unimaginable darkness—yet through their faith in God, inner strength, and enduring humanity, they clung to hope and purpose. In this rare and intimate conversation, Sapir and Sasha—now engaged to be married—travel from Israel to share their extraordinary story of survival, resilience, and love.”
