Byron Donalds, Benny Johnson to headline Turning Point USA event in Gainesville

Florida Congressman Byron Donalds and conservative commentator Benny Johnson will headline “Leading the Next Generation at the University of Florida” on Thursday, Nov. 13. 

Hosted by Turning Point USA, the event will start at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom (655 Reitz Union Dr., Gainesville). Tickets are free and available here

Donalds is currently campaigning to be Florida’s next governor and has been endorsed by President Donald Trump. With Gov. Ron DeSantis term limited, a trio of Republican candidates is seeking to take his spot.

So far, two Democratic challengers have also filed to run. David Jolly, a former Republican congressman, announced his campaign over the summer, and Jerry Demings, mayor of Orange County, filed earlier this week. 

Johnson runs The Benny Show Podcast and is a contributor to Turning Point USA, the political organization started by the late Charlie Kirk. He previously worked at Newsmax, The Blaze and National Review.
