A 17-year-old Lulu man was killed when his pickup truck traveled off SW County Road 40 in Columbia County and struck a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving eastbound on SW CR 240 at 11:10 p.m. when his pickup truck traveled off the roadway to the right and struck a tree.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead on scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
