The Humane Society of North Central Florida will host its “New Year, New Best Friend!” adoption event on Wednesday through Saturday.

The Humane Society of North Central Florida will host its “New Year, New Best Friend!” adoption event on Wednesday through Saturday, Jan 14-17.
Cat and kitten rooms will be open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. each day at 4205 NW 6th St. in Gainesville. Dog kennels are only accessible from 1 to 3 p.m. each day.
Adoption fees (during the event):
- $50 for 5 months and older adult cats. View adoptable cats by clicking here.

If an animal’s location is listed as “Foster,” they are currently living in a foster home. To arrange a meet-and-greet during the adoption event, complete an adoption application (cat or dog) and email info@humanesocietyncfl.org or call 352-373-5855 to schedule your visit.
