Members of the Oak Hall School HOSA-Future Medical Professionals chapter competed in the Florida HOSA Springs Regional Leadership Conference (SRLC) on Jan. 24, with 16 students earning top honors and advancing to the state competition in April.
According to an Oak Hall release, the SRLC, which was held at Belleview High School in Belleview, “brought together the region’s most promising future healthcare providers to test their knowledge and technical skills in various medical disciplines.”
Below is a look at how Oak Hall students fared in the competition.

The 16 students now advance to the Florida HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC), which will take place in April in Orlando.
According to the release, the SLC provides students the chance “to engage in advanced workshops, network with industry professionals and compete for a spot” at HOSA’s International Leadership Conference (ILC).
That’s fantastic news for the Oak Hall HOSA chapter! Advancing sixteen students to the state competition shows real dedication. I’m curious if any of the students mentioned are particularly excited about the networking opportunities at the State Leadership Conference in April?
