Dance Alive National Ballet will perform “Swan Lake” at the Curtis M. Phillips Center in Gainesville on Saturday.
This performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. at 3201 Hull Rd. Tickets range from $35-70 and can be purchased by clicking here.
“Swan Lake” is the story of a prince whose fiancée has been transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer, Von Rothbart. Featuring DANB Principal Dancer, Carla Amâncio as the Swan Queen, the stage is transformed into a world of beauty and artistry. Family friendly.
“What can you say that hasn’t been already said about Swan Lake? The greatest of the classical ballets, it embodies everything that audiences, dancers and students of ballet love and respect about ballet,” said Artistic Director Kim Tuttle. “Without a doubt, it is my personal favorite, and I feel such joy in presenting it to you.”
