
The Florida Department of Health reported 6,336 new cases to the Florida COVID-19 Dashboard, bringing the total positive test count to 206,447 cases as of the July 5th report.
The FDOH also reported 42,325 new tests from Sunday. The positive rate was 14.97% of the total, according to the report.

Statewide hospitalizations are at 16,045 an increase of 150. The state is not reporting a total number of “recovered” COVID-19 patients, or those currently hospitalized.
3,880 people have died from the virus, an increase of 47 over the day before.

Levy County 224 – up 13 from yesterday.
Bradford County 95 – no change from yesterday.

Alachua/LaCrosse/Worthington Springs 93 – up 10 from yesterday.
Archer 24 – up 2 from yesterday.
Hawthorne 17 – up 3 from yesterday.
High Springs 29 – up 1 from yesterday.
Micanopy 8 – no change from yesterday.
Newberry 66 – up 9 from yesterday.
Waldo 9 – up 2 from yesterday.
