The city of Gainesville will restart the longest-running concert series in North Central Florida with the U.S. Air Force Band of the West: Dimensions in Blue Jazz Ensemble.  

Free Fridays Concert Series takes place every Friday at Bo Diddley Plaza. Pretty Simple.  

Attendees can bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the music. The concerts run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature a variety of genres, from R&B to 60’s rock, funk and tribute bands.  

The series runs until the end of September—only taking a break for the Fourth of July.
