UF Health will host a community health fair that will feature health-related education, resources, demonstrations and screenings.
The fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center (1028 NE 14 St.) in Gainesville.
The fair will offer:
- Diabetes education and screening
- Education on injury prevention and what to do when someone is injured
- Learn about UF Health primary care and our new urgent care center
- Mental health education and screening
- Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit and stroke and heart disease education
- Vaccines
Bread of the Mighty Food Bank will also be present to coordinate a food giveaway for those in need.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
