The Writer’s Alliance of Gainesville will be hosting a community event with author Ray Allen Smith on “How to Write Accurate Historical Fiction.”
The event will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, at the Millhopper Library Branch (3145 NW 43rd Street).
Smith puts his knowledge into poetry and short stories and will speak on his writing techniques.
His books include “So It’s Been Told: Tales From The Riverside” (2015) and “Oklawaha Run,”(2018) which are based in Florida.
