Rock N’ Roll Sushi will open a second location in Gainesville this summer off of SW Archer Road in Butler North.
With ‘80s and ‘90s decorations and Van Halen over the speakers, this sushi stop boasts a different atmosphere, and offerings, than most.
“We break all the traditions of your typical sushi restaurant,” Jim Dykes, Gainesville franchise owner, said in a press release.
The release said Rock N’ Roll provides a mix of menu items for die-hard sushi fans and those who’d opt for a different entree.
“We knew we needed to be in Butler Plaza on our first visit to Gainesville, but
unfortunately, there wasn’t any space available,” Dykes said in the release. “We opened in
Newberry and continued to keep in touch. Finally, we were able to secure a location.”
The other location opened in Summer 2021 at Tioga Town Center off Newberry Road.
