
Fifty-three Alachua County Public School (ACPS) high school students recently earned the College Board National Scholars title for their performances on national exams and classwork.
The College Board’s African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, and Rural/Small Town Recognition program notified the students of their significant achievements.
“It’s exciting to have so many outstanding scholars from our district,” ACPS Superintendent Shane Andrew said in a press release. “They have achieved something very impressive, and we’re proud to have them representing our schools and community.”
The students earned top scores on either the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 college entrance exams or Advanced Placement exams.
This year’s scholars are enrolled in Buchholz, Eastside, Gainesville, Newberry and Santa Fe High Schools.
