Acrosstown Repertory Theatre’s new season is scheduled to begin Aug. 2 with “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.”
The show will run through Aug. 18 at 3501 SW 2nd Ave., Ste. 0, in Gainesville.
The musical is directed by Nolan Legault with music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki. The book is by Joe Tracz adapted from the book, “The Lightning Thief,” by Rick Riordan.

Acrosstown is also having open auditions at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 and Monday, 22, for Bee-Luther-Hatchee. More information can be found by clicking here.
In addition, their annual gala and fundraiser is slated for 6-9 p.m. on Aug. 24. There will be refreshments, a silent auction and a preview of the upcoming season. Proceeds will help fund the season’s programs and shows.
