The empty bowls were created by area high school students from Oak Hall, Gainesville and Buchholz, and serve as a reminder that many people in the community face an empty bowl each day.

The fundraiser helps support the Bread of the Mighty and FNEFL’s work to provide healthy food and resources to more than 272,000 people experiencing food insecurity within the food bank’s 12-county service area. Tickets start at $75 for individuals and are available at breadofthemighty.org/emptybowls.
