The Cade Museum for Creativity and Innovation opened applications for the 14th annual Cade Prize for Innovation recently.

For the first time since it first launched in 2010, the Case Prize applications will be open to everyone based in the United States. The prize winners will also receive $100,000 now.

The Cade Prize celebrates innovation by identifying and rewarding inventors and entrepreneurs who are addressing problems creatively in their field.

To be eligible, applicants may have no more than $500,000 in outside investment funding from investors received in exchange for stock or convertible notes. Applications may be submitted on the website with a $55 application fee.
