Dance Alive will be hosting its annual fundraiser Champagne Gala and Dancing with the Stars to help raise funds for its dance studio.  

The event will be from 5:30-11 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Legacy Park Multipurpose Center (15400 Peggy Rd.) in Alachua.  

The fundraiser will feature food by Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille, dancing and a silent auction. The Dance Alive dancers and local celebrity stars will take to the dance floor to show their skills.  

This event is co-chaired by Susannah Peddie and Tara Blythe and hosted by the team of Gainesville Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Eric Godet and Jilian Dinius.  

Special guest judges are film star Lisa Niemi Swayze, national award-winning ballroom dancer Deirdre Radler and Dance Alive National Ballet resident choreographer Judy Skinner.
