Farm Share to distribute food at Oaks Mall, Project YouthBuild

Food non-profit Farm Share will host two food distribution events in Gainesville for area residents at Oaks Mall on Thursday and Project YouthBuild on Friday.

The first event – the 2024 Strike Out Hunger Food Giveaway – will start at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Oaks Mall parking lot (6419 W. Newberry Rd.).

The second event is slated for 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, at Project YouthBuild (635 NW 6th St.).

Farm Share will distribute non-perishable canned goods and fresh produce. There is no income or household size restriction, and the event is free for everyone. Attendees must arrive in a vehicle that has a cargo bed or trunk.
