The Gainesville Opportunity Center will host its third annual Bike Day to help raise money for the organization.  

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18. The bike ride will start at the First Magnitude Brewery (1220 SE Veitch St.), and loop down the Hawthorne Trail. 

There will be three different ride lengths for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders.

Tickets are $25 per rider. Teams of four or more can ride for $20 each.  

After the ride, there will be music and food trucks until 12:30 p.m. 

 The GOC is a non-profit that helps adults living with persistent mental illness rejoin the community and find jobs.
