The play opens at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, and will be performed at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays through Sunday, Sept. 22.
A talkback with the actors will occur after the 2 p.m. show on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The play, written by Topher Payne and directed by Tim Altmeyer, “Perfect Arrangement” brings the 1950s to life with a story inspired by true events of the earliest American gay rights movement. Two employees, Bob and Norma, of the U.S. State Department are assigned to discover any sexual deviants within their division. This challenges them as they are both gay and are married to each other’s partners to conceal their secret.
