UF Health will be hosting the Heat, Heart, and Head Sports Injury Prevention event to inform athletes, coaches or anyone interested in sports injuries and keeping the community safe.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, at the F-Club in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (157 Gale Lemerand Dr.).
The symposium will feature experts in the field of sports medicine and emergency response and advice on the best practice and strategies to prevent sports injuries.
Attendees will also be able to tour the new Heavener Football Training Center and will receive a resource packet and lunch.
