ACHD updates testing, vaccination times

The Alachua County Health Department (ACHD) released its updated COVID-19 testing and vaccination times, along with stipulations, on Tuesday.

COVID-19 testing is by appointment only for those who are experiencing symptoms—fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea—and are available at the ACHD’s East Gainesville location at 224 SE 24th St. from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day.

Due to high demand, COVID-19 testing at the ACHD is by appointment only and exclusively for those who are ill. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and want to be tested, please call 352-334-8810 to make an appointment.
