Alachua Health Department taking appointments for Newberry vaccine clinic

The City of Newberry and the Alachua County Health Department have partnered to offer a COVID-19 vaccination site at the Easton Newberry Sports Complex on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m for Florida residents over the age of 65. The sports complex address is 24880 NW 16th Avenue. 

The health department will only provide vaccine to those who make appointments Wednesday or Thursday of this week. Residents can make an appointment by calling 352-472-5663 ext 148.
