A Pinellas Park man died and a Chiefland man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Chiefland on Monday afternoon.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 35-year-old Pinellas Park man was pulling out of a business driveway near NW 153rd Lane and crossed the northbound lanes of US Highway 19 at 4:40 p.m. in front of a 27-year-old Chiefland man driving north on US 19.
The Pinellas Park driver failed to yield the right of way to the Chiefland driver and was hit on the left side of his vehicle. The Chiefland man’s vehicle rotated clockwise and struck the media marker on its left side.
