City offers free bus rides to the polls on Election Day

The City of Gainesville Regional Transit System will offer free fares on all bus routes on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd.

“The goal is to ensure that lack of transportation is not a factor that stands between our neighbors’ and their most fundamental civic duty” said Malisa McCreedy, Director of Transportation and Mobility for the City of Gainesville. “RTS is here to take our neighbors where they need to go, and we are happy to provide this critical service on election day at no cost.”
