High Springs pharmacy robbed again

The High Springs Police Department (HSPD) is searching for an armed robbery suspect after the Caring Pharmacy was robbed for at least the second time in less than a year.

According to HSPD, on Monday an armed white male around 45 to 50 years of age robbed Caring Pharmacy on U.S. Route 441 and then headed toward the car wash. Police did not release security camera footage, but the man is medium build and last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans, according to a department press advisory.

The advisory advised the public to dial 911 if you see the man and to not approach him.

Last year a man of similar description robbed the Caring Pharmacy at gunpoint and got away with Oxycodone, causing a nearby school to go on lockdown.

Editor’s note: The initial High Springs Police Department statement said the robbery occurred on Sunday, which it later amended to Monday. This story has been updated accordingly.
