The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two car crash this morning at approximately 9AM at the intersection of Highway 349 and NE 48th Avenue in Dixie County.
The first vehicle, a sedan driven by a 34 year old man from Seminole, was traveling north bound in the south bound lane attempting to pass another vehicle.
The second vehicle, a sedan driven by a 37-year old woman from Seminole, was traveling on Hwy 349. The first vehicle failed to observe the second vehicle, and crashing into it.
According to the FHP report, both drivers suffered fatal injuries due to the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the drivers in the incident.
