LCSO seeks suspect in Williston shooting

The Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is seeking Gerald Coleman in connection with a Tuesday night shooting in Williston.

LSCO and Marion County deputies, along with Williston police officers, responded to an incident in the Lincoln Heights area, where they searched for an armed African American male. After initially calling on citizens to secure themselves in their homes, the LCSO said it believed Coleman had left the Lincoln Heights area.

The LCSO reported that one person was shot in the arm at NE 210 Court around 6:30 p.m., but it did not release any additional details about what led to the incident.
