Jacksonville University Christian didn’t flinch from the challenge, finally repelling Starke Bradford 27-20 in a Florida high school football matchup on September 17.

The Christians avoided the brakes and shifted into victory gear via a 7-0 stretch over the final quarter.

Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with the Christians and the Tornadoes locked in a 20-20 stalemate.

Neither defense permitted points in the second quarter, leaving the score 14-13 at intermission.
