In honor of Free Comic Book Day, comic stores across the nation and world will give away free comics on Saturday, including Coliseum of Comics and Mega Games and Comics in Gainesville.
Started in 2002, the event serves to introduce people to comics and has grown to include millions of free comic books worldwide.
Coliseum of Comics (4401 NW 25th Place, Suite G) and Mega Gaming and Comics (3601 SW 2nd Ave.) will feature a wide range of comics to fit any taste, from Star Wars to Godzilla to Minecraft: The Manga and X-Men.
