A 30-year-old Bronson man died Friday morning in a vehicle crash along State Road 24 in Levy County near the intersection with NE 116th Street.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), two pickup trucks were traveling westbound when the first one, driven by a 55-year-old Ocala man, began slowing down to make a left turn into a private drive. The FHP release said the Bronson man failed to slow in time to prevent a collision, and both vehicles ended on separate shoulders of the road.
The Ocala man was not reported to have injuries from the collision.
