A 46-year-old Melrose man died Wednesday morning in Bradford County when he rode his motorcycle through an intersection and crashed.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was traveling eastbound on SE 35th Street in Melrose at 7 a.m. when he failed to stop or slow down for the stop sign at the intersection with SE 8th Avenue. He proceeded through the stop sign and exited the roadway, where he lost control of the motorcycle on the grass shoulder.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead on scene.
