The Joint Chiropractic on Archer Road invites patients, families and local businesses to join its monthlong October celebration
Halloween may fall on the final day of October, but at The Joint Chiropractic Gainesville – Archer Road, the celebration is starting much earlier.
Throughout October, the Gainesville clinic will host MONSTOBER, a monthlong Halloween-themed event featuring costumes, treats, giveaways, local business partnerships and a special offer for new patients willing to get into the spirit of the season.
From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, new patients who visit the clinic in costume can receive a FREE Initial Visit*, including a consultation, exam and adjustment, by using the code MONSTOBER.
No appointment is necessary.
But the Gainesville team hopes MONSTOBER becomes more than a Halloween promotion.
“We wanted to create something that gives people a reason to have a little fun when they walk through our doors, while also finding ways to involve other businesses in the Gainesville community,” said Dr. Joel Manion, Director of Clinics. “Halloween gives us a great opportunity to do something different for an entire month instead of limiting the celebration to one day.”
Local businesses invited to join MONSTOBER
The clinic is reaching out to Gainesville-area businesses interested in becoming MONSTOBER community partners.
Businesses can participate by contributing giveaways, treats, special offers or other creative collaborations that can be shared with patients throughout October.
Pamela Keene, Business Development for The Joint Chiropractic Gainesville – Archer Road, is helping lead the effort to connect the clinic with businesses throughout the community.
The idea is simple: use a fun seasonal event to introduce Gainesville residents to more of the locally owned and operated businesses around them.
For participating businesses, it creates an opportunity to reach new people without the formality of a traditional networking event. For patients, it adds something unexpected to an otherwise routine stop.
Existing patients can get involved, too
MONSTOBER isn’t limited to new patients.
Existing patients are encouraged to come in costume, participate in the festivities and bring along a friend or family member who has never visited The Joint Chiropractic.
The clinic plans to feature different surprises and activities throughout October, giving patients a reason to see what is happening during each visit.
“We see so many of the same people week after week, and you really do get to know them,” Manion said. “MONSTOBER is another way for our team, our patients and the community to interact outside of the usual routine.”
The Gainesville clinic operates on a walk-in model, meaning patients do not need to schedule an appointment before visiting.
A different kind of October event in Gainesville
October in Gainesville brings no shortage of fall festivals, costumes and Halloween activities. MONSTOBER adds something a little different to the calendar: a Halloween celebration that runs for the entire month and takes place somewhere people might not expect it.
There are no tickets to buy and no single date to remember.
Just come in during October — and, for those hoping to take advantage of the new-patient MONSTOBER offer, don’t forget the costume.
MONSTOBER runs Oct. 1–31 at The Joint Chiropractic Gainesville – Archer Road, 3740 SW Archer Road in Gainesville. Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is required.
