Two Alachua County Public Schools (ACPS) directors will give equity initiative updates at Wednesday’s GNV4ALL meeting.

According to a GNV4ALL release, Dr. Anntwanique Edwards, the chief of equity for ACPS, and Dr. Dakeyan “Dre” Graham, the ACPS equity director, will be the featured speakers at the GNV4ALL general body meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Metcalfe Elementary School cafeteria (1250 NE 18^th Ave.).

The two speakers will give an update on the school district’s equity initiatives, which were launched in 2017.

The presentation will be followed by GNV4ALL’s five teams — Fatherhood Initiative, Health and Transportation, Family Support, Education and Criminal Justice — discussing systemic solutions to problems linked to race and poverty in Alachua County.
