
Dream on Purpose aims to inspire and prepare youth for their next step through its seventh annual Cupcakes & Conversations: College Discoveries event on Saturday.
For 11- to 18-year-olds, the free event will last from 2 to 5 p.m. at Santa Fe College’s Blount Center (401 NW 6th St., Gainesville). Registration is free at DreamonPurpose.org/events.
The event allows potential students to meet current college students, connect with industry experts and collect information on financial aid, housing and time management skills. Free resource kits and giveaways are also part of College Discoveries.
The event will feature a lineup of speakers and exhibitors, sharing their personal and professional experiences. The lineup includes:
